Scholar does not underwrite securities or act as a lender and is therefore not burdened by these potential conflicts of interest when advising Boards of Directors and rendering fairness opinions.

CORPORATE GOVERNANCE

Scholar assists clients with meeting the requirements of local and international corporate governance standards, establishing Boards of Directors and structuring key Board level responsibilities such as auditing, Board and management process, corporate responsibility, regulatory compliance, financial transparency, investor relations and executive remuneration.

FINANCIAL REPORTING

Scholar provides clients with advice on adopting best practice financial reporting standards such as IFRS and assesses the impact of new accounting policies on clients’ income statements, cash flow and balance sheet.
